Starting Monday December 4th through Wednesday December 6th the contractor for the Tennessee Department of Transportation will place flagmen on the new Highway 321 bridge over the Tennessee River. For those three days the flagmen will control one-way traffic across the bridge while a concrete median wall is poured. The wall will be constructed on the Tellico Village side of the bridge. It will be 500 feet long and will connect to the existing median wall on the bridge. The contractor will attempt to avoid using flagmen during morning and evening rush hour times.
Please allow extra time to cross the bridge and drive carefully to protect the workers present.
