On March 16, at Tugaloo Pavilion, Tellico Village participated in its first Tennessee Tree Day. Sponsored by the HOA, we picked up 547 trees, had orders filled for 342 and gave away the remaining 205.
A special thanks to Harriet Hartman, Peggy Nicolai, Phil Olson, Harry and Linda Rucker and Buddy Holt for the counting, labeling, sorting and distribution of all our trees. Everything went very smoothly. All our recipients were very gracious, and the overall endeavor was highly successful.
